Grace
was born and raised in New Jersey. She
and her husband moved into a log home in the
Lower Hudson Valley in New York State 10 years
ago. She is married to her best friend and
soulmate Stephen, they have 2 grown children,
several adopted cats and one lucky dog.
Grace is a self taught artist.
"The look of Folk Art appeals to me, the primitive,
original, the not so perfect piece has a unique
quality and charm in one's home. I love the look
of old, the patina of a piece that has been
loved and used for years and try to incorporate
that feeling into my artwork."
"I have always loved art, would "doodle" on
my school books and any paper that was
available since I can remember. It was when
we moved to this area that I was inspired
to paint."
"The colors that Mother Nature provided me
while I looked out from our front porch was
enough for me to buy some paint and brushes
and start my new venture."
