"I start and end my day painting and I can’t
think of a more wonderful way of life."
"I guess you could say my art career began at
a very early age. Growing up in the remote
countryside as the youngest of a large family, I
quickly learned to entertain myself by making
homemade coloring books and drawing images
from my imagination. My artistic interest
developed in high school after being introduced
to another creative love – photography. While
pursuing Photography and Art History degrees,
I always enjoyed taking drawing and painting
classes for personal pleasure. Realizing my true
love to be for drawing and painting, I decided
to follow my passion after college and become
a full-time painter."

subject matter. I incorporate my photography
experience and art history knowledge into
my work. I feel as though I’m influenced by
something new everyday and I’m always
