Alma
Lee has a deep passion for illustration and
takes her inspiration from her great love of the
Lord and His Word.
Working digitally, an illustration is done on Lee’s
computer drawing table. Every print is an
original work of art in progress. Her self-taught
technique creates a virtual feast of color, texture
and light. The multi layered designs constantly
lend themselves to change offering the viewer
a closer look into life, the world and its Creator.
“I find myself fascinated with old against new
and warm against cool. Illustration to me is an
evolving statement, not stagnation. I believe art
finds its destiny when it enlightens us to search for
a deeper meaning of life,” states Alma Lee.
Growing up in Wisconsin, Alma Lee studied art at
the University of Wisconsin and fell in love with
art in life. She lives and works in the rural area
north of Green Bay, Wisconsin along with her
husband Steve, German shepherd dog Codie
and a menagerie of beloved critters.
