Fred Fieber was born in St Albans, Hertfordshire,
England in 1960. He grew up and Studied in
Salisbury, Wiltshire, where he still lives and works.
Fred graduated from the Art college with a
graphics degree in 1980 and worked with
various advertising/design companies as a
graphic designer until going freelance in 1989.
During the late 901s Fred developed a
distinctive illustrative style and started
producing editorial illustrations for the UK
publishing industry and continues to work for
some of the UK's leading titles.
Alongside his commercial work Fred enjoys
working on a variety of subjects from land and
seascapes to architectural and automotive
themes and regularly exhibits his work. Fred
works largely in chalk pastel but has great
versatility also producing architectural work in
line and wash and painting a variety of
subjects in acrylics and oils.
