Ron
has a natural, God-given gift. Although he
has been a professional artist for over 30 years
he has never had any formal art lessons. He
does not like to say he is "self taught" for 2
reasons; he gives God the credit for his
natural ability, and he also admits to being
an observer of many other artists, their styles,
and their careers.
Ron has close to 50 of his original paintings in
print with many of those being published by
the international art publishing company
Bentley Publishing Group, located in Walnut
Creek, CA. We'd like to make note that one
print in particular... "One Fine Morning", in the
past 10 years, has sold well over 50,000 prints
worldwide. His art has shown up around
Christmas time (for several years) on
decorative popcorn tins in Wal-mart, as
decorative prints for a company known as
Home Interiors as well as being made into
puzzles and put on T-shirts.
Where some artists stay with one medium and
limited subject matter, Ron gets his "creative"
kicks from being versatile... he says that's his
way of keeping his work "fresh" as well as
keeping himself happy. He works in various
medium and goes from landscapes to still life
to seascapes to portraits of any kind with
ease. There are literally hundreds of his original
works of art in private collections throughout
the U.S. and parts of Canada Some of the
better known companies that Ron has done
artwork for are AT&T, Union Carbide, ITT
Technical Institutes, Miller Brewing Company,
Burger King, Allied Van lines and many others.
He's painted murals, portraits of people, cars,
trucks, homes, churches and businesses and
has done so for many doctors, lawyers and
other high profile business professionals.
Ron enjoys painting many different subjects
and has the ability to paint a portrait of
literally any subject imaginable. Without a
doubt, his greatest joy in painting is when he
is doing animals... preferably the adorable
pets that are so much like family... the dogs,
cats and horses that bring so much joy to
our lives in the way of unconditional love
and companionship.
Ron Carter currently resides in Arizona and
continues his lifelong devotion to painting.
