Jean Bradley has been a professional painter as
well as teacher for the past twenty years. In 2005,
her work was published in a book entitled How
Did You Paint That? 100 ways to paint your
Favorite Subject. In the February- March 2006
issue of the prestigious art magazine
International Artist, Jean’s painting “Voluptuous
Papayas” appeared on the cover. Inside there
is a feature article on her “Rhythm and Light”
series including a demonstration of an acrylic
painting from start to finish using her
art techniques.
Jean Bradley remarks, “When viewing my
work, people often comment that they feel
the life force and energy in the vibrant colors
and movement. It’s my expression of the magic
in nature. My paintings reflect my personal love
of light and movement, capturing the shafts of
sunlight and ribbons of color dancing on palm
fronds or other surfaces in nature as well as on
the faces of people around me. Color and light
are my passion and finding new ways to express
their use on canvas is what stirs my artistic soul.”
