Artist
Enrique Bolo grew up in a Portuguese
fishing village surrounded by the sights, smells,
and sound of the ocean. His mother, also an
artist, gave up her career to raise Bolo and his
four brothers and sisters. She saw in Enrique
a talent that she didn’t want him to lose or
give up.
As a teen Bolo was sent to art school to study
under the talents of many fine artists. Bolo
missed his family and came back after two
years but continued developing his craft and
later was able to open up his first gallery.
Today, Bolo works in a studio overlooking the
ocean and his surrounded by his family and
the sea.
